TAUR first debuted on Kickstarter in October 2020 with the ambition to deliver to customers worldwide. Unfortunately, we realized this was far too ambitious in the short term, so in February 2021 we <a href="https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/taur/taur-the-electric-road-scooter/posts/3101550">stated</a> that we will not be shipping to customers beyond the UK, US and Canada. It was not a proud moment for us and it caused a lot of frustration among our international backers &#x2013; but it is a plan we&apos;ve stuck to ever since.As we said back then, &quot;a great product needs a great support operation. Part shortages, logistics delays, and travel restrictions have all prevented us from rolling out distribution and support operations. We&apos;ve been forced to scale back significantly from our original plans. As you know, the product is built so that in case you have a problem, we can help you quickly and painlessly. The last thing we want is for you to have product problems, not be able to fix it, and the product then sits unused until it goes to landfill. Unfortunately, for many backers, we&apos;ve realized that we don&#x2019;t know when we can provide you with that level of support.&quot;That is why we&apos;ve been unable to commit to a delivery date for backers outside the UK and North America, and why we&apos;ve offered a full refund to all such backers ever since (just email hello@taur.com).We&apos;re sorry to those backers for all the inconvenience and disappointment caused. &#xA0;For those who continue on with us, we aim to provide you with far more clarity at some point in early-mid 2023.
